Portage County Accident Near Junction City Results In Serious Injuries

A head-on crash occurred today on Highway 34 at Trelka Lane northeast of Junction City.  A man from Portage County was driving one vehicle and a man from Langlade County was driving the other.  Both men had to be transported to the hospital.  The accident remains under investigation.

Clark County Trucking Accident Near Thorp Causes Multiple Injuries

At least three people were hurt Wednesday in a trucking crash near Thorp in Clark County.  An eastbound flatbed truck hauling hay was rear-ended by a semi truck while traveling on an overpass of Highway 29.  Albert Brick of Chippewa Falls was driving the flatbed and John Brick was a passenger. Kyle McNeil of Iowa was driving the semi.  When the flatbed truck was rear-ended, it flipped onto its side and bails of hay fell onto the roadway below, causing injury to Orville Manier of Stanley, the operator of a third vehicle.

Tomahawk Accident Causes Injuries To At Least Three People

An automobile accident near Tomahawk on Thursday resulted in at least three injuries.  The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Hwy. 8 at Honey Road in the town of Wilson, an area northwest of Tomahawk. Police say a driver made a u-turn on the highway, striking an eastbound vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle making the u-turn was cited for drunk driving.

Wisconsin Rapids Car Accident

Two women were transported to Riverview Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday at the intersection of West Grand Avenue and West Riverview Expressway in Wisconsin Rapids.  It was reported that an SUV turning left onto West Grand Avenue struck a car heading south on West Riverview Expressway.  Both drivers were injured.

Merrill Wrongful Death Accident

One person is dead and two people were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Lincoln County on Friday afternoon on Joe Snow Road and County Highway Q just south of Merrill, according to the sheriff's department.  The preliminary report indicates a 16-year-old driver failed to stop at a stop sign, causing the collision.  The driver of the other vehicle, Joan Lehman, was tragically killed in the crash.  The teen driver and a young passenger were also injured.  Bremer & Trollop Law Offices focuses its pra

Rhinelander Accident Results in Injury

On Wednesday Oneida County deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 17, just south of Boyce Drive. A Toyota SUV rear-ended another vehicle then struck that vehicle's door before ending up in a ditch. The occupant of the other vehicle was transported to Ministry St. Mary's Hospital with injuries. The driver of the Toyota was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
