Lakeland Union High School’s Scholar of the Month – Kylie Grooters
Bremer & Trollop Law Offices, S.C. congratulate Kylie Grooters, a senior at Lakeland Union High School, who was chosen as the Bremer & Trollop October Scholar of the Month.
Kylie is an AP Scholar noted for her “great enthusiasm for learning and an incredible interest in helping others,” by Kim Olson, Lakeland Union High School Counselor. Kylie is a member of the Lakeland Union High School Student Council, Spanish Club, Captains Club, the Principal’s Advisory Council, and FOR Club. She has served as baseball team manager and played volleyball for the school. In addition, Kylie has assisted on Freshman First Day and works with students in the school’s Ignition mentor program. Kylie has also been an influential youth group leader in the community and been on multiple missions to Mexico, Guatemala and Haiti.
As a Scholar of the Month, Kylie will be awarded a scholarship from Bremer & Trollop Law Offices at the close of the 2013-2014 academic year. To be eligible for this recognition, the Bremer & Trollop Scholar of the Month must be a senior and be selected by his or her instructors based on the quality of the work that has been completed in the core curricular areas.
Kylie is the daughter of Jay and Amy Grooters.
