Antigo Car Accident At Little League Game

A sports utility vehicle driven by Charles Melzer, of Antigo, reversed into a baseball backstop, striking four people, at a Little League game at Saratoga park.  The victims, two of them children, were all treated and released from Langlade Hospital.  Melzer told police that while attempting to leave the park his foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator while the vehicle was in reverse, resulting in the accident.

In an accident like the one described above, the pedestrians injured in the accident may have access to insurance coverage to help with their medical bills through their own automobile insurance (or their parents’ automobile insurance).  Many people do not realize their car insurance will apply to almost all automobile accidents, even if they are not actually in a car at the time.  A personal injury attorney will help you make strategic use of personal automobile insurance and health insurance.  Call Bremer & Trollop Law Offices for a free consultation.
