Four Hospitalized After Spencer Accident

A crash north of Marshfield injured four on Wednesday, August 20.  At about 3:15 p.m., a Chevy Malibu containing three young women crossed the Highway 153 center line near East Avenue in Stratford.  The Malibu collided nearly head-on with a pickup truck driven by a 74-year-old man.  All four involved were transported from the scene to Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital.  The three females, ages 12-17, were treated and released, but the man remains hospitalized for his injuries.  Spencer police are continuing their investigation of the accident.
