How to Fix Supreme CourtEelections in Wisconsin/Wausau Attorney’s Panel Recommends One 16-year Term for Justices

One of the first things the panel tasked with finding a way to fix judicial elections in Wisconsin had to consider, said Wausau attorney Christine Bremer Muggli, who was a member of the panel through its 18-month process, was that Wisconsinites value our ability to vote for judges. According to opinion polls, an overwhelming majority — perhaps as many as 70 percent — want to continue electing judges.
