SPASH’s Scholar of the Month – Hannah Selwyn

Bremer & Trollop Law Offices, S.C. congratulate Hannah Selwyn a senior at Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH), who was chosen as the Bremer & Trollop November Scholar of the Month.

Trena Loomans, a School Counselor at SPASH, has written the following about Hannah, “It is with great pleasure that I recommend Ms. Hanna Selwyn. She is a very mature young lady, who is actively involved in making a difference in her community. She has participated as Stevens Point Area Senior High’s first student to be in the Youth Rotary Exchange Program where she traveled to Brazil for a full school year. This was a wonderful leadership opportunity as she is a great role model for others who would like to pursue such a unique and enriching experience. This is a reflection of her motivation and drive to pursue her post-secondary plans in a field that supports biochemistry or neuroscience and continued studies in Portuguese. In addition, Ms. Selwyn has numerous volunteer activities she has taken advantage of through: Food Pantry, Empty Bowls, End Polio Now, Childhood Education Assistant, and Operation Bootstrap just to name a few.”

As a Scholar of the Month, Hannah will be awarded a scholarship from Bremer & Trollop Law Offices at the close of the 2014-2015 academic year. To be eligible for this recognition, the Bremer & Trollop Scholar of the Month must be a senior and be selected by his or her instructors based on the quality of the work that has been completed in the core curricular areas.

Hannah is the daughter of Calvin and Jennifer Selwyn.
