Rebekah Engebretson

Antigo High School’s Scholar of the Month  –  Rebekah Engebretson

Wausau, WI – April 28, 2019 – Bremer & Trollop Law Offices congratulate Rebekah Engebretson, a senior at Antigo High School, who was chosen as the Bremer & Trollop April Scholar of the Month.

According to Lila Gallenberg, an AP Language & Composition teacher at Antigo High School, “Throughout her high school years, Rebekah has been a conscientious learner who takes pride in her work. During her first semester, she worked very hard to complete the requirements of a very rigorous course. Numerous writing assignments included essays that displayed skills of analysis, argumentation, and synthesis. Rebekah included rhetorical strategies within her writing, utilizing narration, description, illustration, definition, and comparison/contrast.

Outside of class, Rebekah is an active band member. For solo and ensemble, she is going to state for piano in three areas including solo, duet, and trio as well as ensembles in jazz and woodwind. Rebekah is also involved in forensics where she will be competing at the district level in the prose reading category. Rebekah is a member of our National Honor Society. She also volunteers at church, helping serve food and playing the organ for services.”

As a Scholar of the Month, Engebretson will be awarded a scholarship from Bremer & Trollop Law Offices at the end of the 2018-2019 academic year. To be eligible for this recognition, the Bremer & Trollop Scholar of the Month must be a senior and be selected by his or her instructors based on the quality of the work that has been completed in the core curricular areas.

Rebekah is the daughter of Donald and Carol Engebretson.
