Marshfield High School’s Scholar of the Month –  Tyler Nanstad

Wausau, WI – March 30, 2018 – Bremer & Trollop Law Offices congratulate Tyler Nanstad, a senior at Marshfield High School, who was chosen as the Bremer & Trollop March Scholar of the Month.

According to Krystal Salzmann, a School Counselor at Marshfield High School, “Tyler has challenged himself academically every year stating with honors and Advanced Placement (AP) level courses as a freshman. By the end of his senior year, he will have taken 12 AP courses along with many courses offered at honors level. He has scored a 5 on every AP exam he has taken to date, and is currently ranked in the top 5% of an academically competitive class. This is noteworthy considering Tyler has had to make a few difficult decisions along the way to balance his music courses with traditional academic coursework; many students are not able to make that many AP courses fit in their daily schedules with as many music commitments. His teachers describe Tyler as someone who invests in all aspects of the learning process, and as someone who knows how to help other learners grow without being overly critical. Tyler has an approach to classroom learning that demonstrates his mastery of content without overshadowing those around him.”

As a Scholar of the Month, Tyler will be awarded a scholarship form Bremer & Trollop Law Offices at the end of the 2017-2018 academic year. To be eligible for this recognition, the Bremer & Trollop Scholar of the Month must be a senior and be selected by his or her instructors based on the quality of the work that has been completed in the core curricular areas.

Tyler is the son of Michael and Nancy Nanstad.
