Attorney Christine Bremer Muggli Receives Coveted President’s Award From The Wisconsin Association For Justice
January 8, 2018 — Milwaukee, WI — Christine Bremer Muggli, a Wausau, WI based personal injury attorney and major shareholder in Bremer & Trollop Law Offices, S.C., recently received the President’s Award, one of the most prestigious and coveted legal awards an attorney in the state can receive. The award is sponsored by the Madison based Wisconsin Association For Justice and is presented at the discretion of the Association’s President. Because the award is not necessarily presented annually, it adds tremendous significance to the recipient, and is presented at a special event held in Milwaukee.
The President’s Award is given to an individual who has been of outstanding service to the community and the practice of law. It bestows special recognition to a person who, in the course of zealously representing their clients or in the advocacy for the voiceless, pursues and helps achieve substantive changes in the law, improves the civil justice system, enhances the rights of citizens’ access to the courts, preserves the right of trial by jury, or enhances the right of everyone to attain full, fair and timely remedies for civil wrongs.
Bremer Muggli, who works from offices located in Wausau, Stevens Point, Marshfield, Minocqua and Antigo, has served as the President of the Wisconsin Association For Justice, chaired the Association’s Justice Fund for 10 years, has written many articles for The Verdict Magazine, has served on the magazine’s Editorial Board, is a recipient of the Robert L. Habush Trial Lawyer of the Year, has been recognized for 10 consecutive years by Super Lawyer Magazine as one of Wisconsin’s Top 25 Women Attorneys, and has served on the Wisconsin Association For Justice Board of Directors since 1991.
Bremer Muggli was the founder of the Wisconsin Association For Justice’s Women’s Caucus that brings together women trial lawyers throughout Wisconsin to support and encourage their law practices, and to mentor aspiring law students and young women lawyers. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of the Wisconsin Institute of Public Policy and Service. Bremer Muggli is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Loyola University in Chicago and received her Juris Doctor degree from the same university.
Bremer Muggli said, “I am deeply honored, while at the same time tremendously humbled by receiving this award. The residents of Wisconsin are served by many of the finest and most talented trial lawyers in the country, and I feel so fortunate that the attorneys and staff of the Wisconsin Association For Justice diligently and forcefully spend their days and nights protecting the rights of victims.”
