A Sunday afternoon crash north of Hatley killed one woman and injured two others. Shortly after 1:30 p.m., a man driving a truck south on County Road Y failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with a car traveling east on County Road N, sending both vehicles off the road. The driver of the car and her two passengers were transported to Aspirus Wausau Hospital to be treated for their injuries. The driver, 18-year-old Kelliann Boswell of Birnamwood, died at the hospital. The driver of the truck, an 18-year-old Tomahawk man, was not injured. Investigation and crash reconstruction are ongoing, and authorities believe fog may have been a factor in the crash.
