Lakeland Union High School's Scholar of the Month - Kate Tichacek
Bremer & Trollop Law Offices congratulate Kate Tichacek, a senior at Lakeland Union High School, who was chosen as the Bremer & Trollop October Scholar of the Month.
Kimberly Kargus-Myers, a Math Teacher and Student Council Advisor said, “I have had the privilege of working with Kate as a student in math class as well as Student Council for the past four years. She has always shown respect and character in my dealings with her and she would be an excellent candidate for any endeavor she wishes to take on. As her teacher, I can say with absolute certainty that Kate is a great student. Not only is she a great math student, she is highly motivated in the classroom and is very academically responsible…she has chosen to take on other extracurricular activities as well. As a young high school student, Kate participated in volleyball and was honored as captain her senior year. Not only is Kate a tremendous athlete, she also spends her time contributing to academic clubs in leadership roles. Kate has been very active in National Honor Society and she has been the secretary of Student Council for the past two years.”
As a Scholar of the Month, Kate will be awarded a scholarship from Bremer & Trollop Law Offices at the close of the 2016-2017 academic year. To be eligible for this recognition, the Bremer & Trollop Scholar of the Month must be a senior and be selected by his or her instructors based on the quality of the work that has been completed in the core curricular areas.
Kate is the daughter of Janet & George Tichacek.
