A collision near downtown Wausau on Thursday afternoon caused injury to at least one person.  A woman was driving east on Jefferson Street when she ran a stop sign at Seventh Street and was hit by a pickup truck.  The force of the collision pushed both vehicles onto a nearby sidewalk. The woman was taken to Aspirus Wausau Hospital for her injuries. The crash caused Seventh Street to close temporarily between Washington and Jefferson streets. Wausau police are still investigating the accident.

See The Wausau Daily Herald for more information.
