Nekoosa Woman Injured In Semi Accident

Kathleen M. Esser, from Nekoosa, was injured when the car she was in collided with a semitrailer in the town of Port Edwards.  On Friday, a car driven by Wayne H. Esser  and a semitrailer driven by Gordon L. Varsho and owned by Triumph Transportation of Milwaukee collided on Highway 54 near Port Road, when Varsho was backing his semi across an oncoming lane of traffic into the parking lot of Trophy Bound Collision.  Both Wayne Esser and Kathleen Esser were removed from the car, which authorities say sustained severe damage, and were transported to Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
