A crash in the Town of Spencer on Wednesday killed three people. The two-car accident occurred on Highway 13 near Karau Avenue on Wednesday evening. Details of the collision are still unclear: part of Highway 13 was closed for several hours while the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department attempted to reconstruct the crash. Two men, who were traveling in separate cars, died at the scene. A woman who was involved in the crash was taken to the hospital where she later died of her injuries.
