When a passenger in a vehicle is injured in an accident, they often have access to insurance coverage for their medical bills from an insurance policy they never think of using: their own. While the insurance on the vehicle the passenger is in is “primary,” a passenger can use their own automobile insurance medical payments coverage to assist with medical expenses as well. Many issues like this come up during the handling of a personal injury claim. That is why anyone injured in an accident should talk to a personal injury attorney right away. If you’ve been injured in an accident, call Bremer & Trollop Law Offices today for a free consultation. We have offices in Marshfield, Wausau, Stevens Point, Minocqua and Antigo.
